Use the Marketplace

Use the Marketplace when you want to discover webmate extensions, integrations, or reusable assets that can support your testing workflow.

Before you start

Make sure you have access to the project or organization where the Marketplace entry should be used. Some entries may require administrator permissions, additional credentials, or a supported webmate plan before they can be activated.

Find an entry

1. Open webmate.
2. Go to Marketplace.
3. Browse the available entries or use search and filters to narrow the list.
4. Open an entry to review its description, requirements, and setup notes.

Review requirements

Before you activate an entry, check:

• which webmate area the entry extends,
• whether administrator permissions are required,
• whether external credentials or tokens are needed,
• which projects or users should be able to use it,
• and whether the entry changes data sharing with external systems.

Activate and configure an entry

Follow the setup steps shown on the Marketplace entry page. If the entry connects webmate to an external tool, prepare the required credentials in that tool first and store them only in the configuration fields provided by webmate.

After activation, open the related webmate area and verify that the new option is available to the intended users.

Keep entries under review

Review active Marketplace entries regularly. Disable entries that are no longer used, rotate external credentials according to your organization’s policy, and confirm that access is still limited to the projects and users that need it.
