webmate Release 2024.2.0

Spring is coming, and so is the release of webmate 2024.2.0! This release introduces offline simulation, but we also touched on improving the little details of the user experience in webmate:

Offline Simulation

Our bandwidth simulation feature allows users to test their applications’ performance on different network speeds. Now, offline simulation adds the option to test situations where a mobile device has no internet connection at all. Look at the Simulations article to learn more about this.

UX Improvements

We are always busy collecting feedback from our users to improve the usability of webmate. This release contains the following noteworthy improvements:

  • Test Lab: Quickly share test reports with your fellow users now.
  • Mobile Device Updates: Requesting an update for your mobiles has never been easier. Use the new UI dialog to send us your request with additional details (optional).

Bugfixes

  • Improved error messages in various workflows.
  • Several bug fixes and performance improvements throughout the UI.
